A palm-sized desk companion with a pixel-art face, mic and speaker, paired with a desktop memory layer. Shared work with Mrunmayee, Yash and Tanishq.
fumii is a palm-sized companion concept that combines a pixel-art face, microphone, speaker and embedded hardware with a desktop app. I worked on the software and system architecture: the Electron core, memory provenance and the React dashboard. Mrunmayee Daware handled AI and personality, Yash Gadhave hardware and embedded design, and Tanishq Mhetras firmware and connectivity. This is shared work, not a solo hardware project.
The memory design uses a compact identity layer, the top three episodic memories and a seven-day emotional-state window, aiming for roughly 1,000 tokens of memory context per request. SQLite stores summaries and several hosted and local model providers can be used. Not every README architecture claim is a fully tested deployment.
