A Hindi, English and Hinglish voice receptionist that books, cancels and reschedules appointments and confirms on WhatsApp.
Ira is a voice receptionist for local businesses. It handles bookings with persistent records and sends WhatsApp confirmations. I built the first version on 20 September and submitted it to the AssemblyAI Voice Agent Hackathon on 27 September.
AssemblyAI streaming transcription, browser microphone capture, barge-in, language detection and salon vocabulary power the voice flow. I worked on turn-taking, natural number reading and clean call endings. The interface is a simple white-and-lime orb with call ripples and voice bars rather than a dashboard. The code is MIT licensed and hosted on Deno Deploy.
